When to go to Scotland

The best season to travel to Scotland is from May to September. The winter months are not recommended for visiting the Highlands where wind and weather rage violently throughout the year, but especially in the colder months.

From May to September, the light is particularly fascinating and the colours created by the decidedly capricious weather fill the landscapes with wonderful atmospheres.
